Rap beginners’ course

This course is for everyone who don’t have any experience with Rap but have been wanting to try it out and never found the courage to do so (possibility to move on to Rap Boot Camp after significant development of skills).

Aims of the course: to get a more in-depth knowledge of Rap and HipHop culture; to develop the skills to write your own texts and to be able to perform them.

House Dance

House Music was born in the „Warehouse“ in Chicago and developed from Disco music. The dance style surfaced in the early 1980s in both Chicago and New York. The dance style and the music have been in constant development ever since. The main part of this style is the Jacking. A movement of the upper body which interprets the variations of the music. House Dance is influenced by many different dance styles such as African and Latin dances, Tap Dance, Jazz, HipHop and also martial arts such as Capoeira. There are many different techniques and sub-styles  such as Footwork, Skating, Stomping, Shuffling and Lofting. House Dance is a culture which is based on freedom of speech, sharing and a passionate connection to music.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a variation and progression of the Japanese martial arts Judo and Jiu-Jitsu which focuses more on floor fights but also throwing techniques while standing are a major part of the practice.

„The course is for beginners as well as advanced people. However, we will focus on recruiting new people and getting them interested in this sport. You have the choice of participating in competitions or practicing for yourselves. The most important for me is to show you the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and share my passion with you. And maybe you soon won’t be able to imagine a world without Jiu-Jitsu.“ (Philippe, BJJ teacher)
