Nia® is a holistic movement practice that works with elements from dance, martial arts and healing arts.
This gentle and dynamic form of sustained fitness training appeals to all muscle groups and is at the same time free from any drill. The joy of movement and your own well-being are the focus. Nia is a way to unfold your whole potential of movement and expression.
Through the combination of various techniques, many different types of movement are made tangible and can be experienced. They are giving the body good balance, strength and beauty. An alternation of expressiveness and muscle power, Yin and Yang, fixed choreographies and short freedance units are offered. Every movement in Nia is adapted to your own well-being and performed in a way that is healing and good for your body.
Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) - the holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind and soul - was developed 1983 by the Americans Debbie and Carlos Rosas.
