The dance form, like the music, has been developing constantly since the beginning. The main characteristic of the style is called "Jacking". An upper body movement that interprets the variations of the music. House dance is influenced by many other styles such as African and Latin American dances, tap, jazz, hip hop and martial arts like Capoeira. Many techniques and sub-styles exist within the dance form, such as footwork, skating, stomping, shuffling and lofting. House dancing is a culture based on the freedom of expression, sharing and honest connection with music.
